Looking to recycle soda pop tabs, I decided to make a cute and easy cow print earrings. You could also make any other animal print like a leopard or tiger. The options are endless...
You will need:
- 2 Soda tabs
- White and black nail polish/ paint
- 4 small jump-rings
- Pliers
- 2 Earring hooks
- A pushpin
- A hammer
Method:
1. Paint the pop tabs white and create black patches all over it.
2. Give them plenty of time to dry.
3. Next, take the push pin and place it where you want your jump-ring to be inserted.
4. Gently hammer the push pin with a hammer to make a hole wide enough for the jump-ring to pass through.
5. Insert the first jump-ring, and use pliers to seal the gap between its ends. Next insert the second jump-ring through the first one and pass the earring hook through it before sealing it again.
6. Make sure that your jump rings are sealed to prevent the earring hook from detaching.
