Cereal box Notepad

Whether it's for drawing, taking notes or writing down a list, it is always handy to have a notepad. Follow the directions below to make your own personalizedbudget friendly journal out of cereal boxes.

You will need:

  •  A cardboard box (cereal or biscuit)
  • Index cards
  • Scissors
  • Pencil
  • 2 Binder clips
  • 2 Rulers
  • Glue (preferably super glue)

Procedure:

1. Cut the front and back of your box like shown below. Using a pencil, trace the outline of the index card and cut them out (You will need one for the back and one for the front).

2. After obtaining the front and back, assemble them by sandwiching the index cards with the cardboard.

3. To secure it in place, place one ruler in the front and one at the back. Hold them tightly by putting a binder clip on either sides like shown below:

4. Now apply glue to hold its shape. I advice using super glue as it is much stronger than regular glue.

5. Allow it to dry for 5-10 minutes. Remove the binder clips and you are done!

6. If you like, you can decorate using tape like I did here. You can also stick buttons or sprinkle glitter! The options are endless...
