Banana Walnut Cake

Bananas! They're my favorite fruit. Bananas are rich in Potassium and minerals. They are sweet, available all year round and perfect for desserts.






Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups of flour
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/3 cup oil or melted butter
  • 3 ripe bananas mashed
  • 1 egg
  • 1/4 cup walnuts
  • Honey

Method:

1. Preheat the oven to 190`C or 350`F

2. In a bowl, mix together all the dry ingredients.

3. Next add in the butter, bananas, eggs and walnuts. Stir well.

4. If the consistency is too thick add some milk.

5. Line a cake tin with parchment paper and pour it into the cake tin.


6. Bake for 20 minutes till a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.

7. Finally, drizzle some honey on top. Serve hot!
